I was born in Ft. Knox, KY, and because my father was in the army I lived in several different places growing up: Ft. Knox, KY; El Paso, TX; Ansbach, Germany; Milwaukee, WI; and Huachuca City, AZ. I finally went to a Lutheran school for the first time at Wisconsin Lutheran High School in Milwaukee.
I graduated from WLC in 1983, then DMLC in 1985 with a Bachelor's Degree. I completed my Master's in Educational Leadership and Curriculum Development in 2012 at Cardinal Stritch University.
I have taught in LaCrosse, the Twin Cities area, Reedsburg, WI, Goodhue, MN, and Christ-St. Peter in Milwaukee before being called to David's Star. I served as principal for 18 of my years of service.
I am married to Shana. I have four daughters and two sons, and 11 grandchildren and counting.
I believe that a good relationship with the students and good teaching strategies are both necessary for student success. I love teaching because I love kids!
