I began serving at David’s Star Lutheran School in July of 2001. I received my Bachelor’s degree from Dr. Martin Luther College in 1983, and my Master’s degree in Education from Viterbo College in 1992. In 2014, I completed my Educational Leadership Master’s degree from Martin Luther College.
I enjoy sharing information with my students and helping them recognize the importance of that information. I feel that it is important for me to be a good role-model for my students and share important skills, so they can learn to apply those skills to real-world situations.
The students also have an opportunity to work on various activities which gives them the opportunity to take the initiative and demonstrate their learning and use their God-given talents. I also enjoy being in the classroom with the students because it gives me an opportunity to share the Gospel message with my students, and they have opportunities to share their faith throughout the day.
