I grew up in Tillamook, Oregon, the land of cheese, breeze, and mud to your knees. Our church was 70 miles from our home, so it was a huge commitment on the part of my parents to take me and my three siblings to Confirmation and church each weekend. This act of love helped me see how important God’s pure Word was for my life. After graduating from Tillamook High School, I chose to attend Dr. Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota. In 1983, I received my first call to St. John’s in Lannon, Wisconsin, where I taught third and fourth grade and met my wonderful husband Steve. I took a break from teaching to raise our five children. In 2007, I began teaching Preschool at David’s Star. During the past few years, I have taken classes at Wisconsin Lutheran College to secure my Early Childhood Degree.
I love teaching the little lambs of Jesus. I believe that if they walk out the door knowing that Jesus loves them and that school is the best place to be, I have set them on a successful path for life.
