Grade 8 Spelling Curriculum
One unit per week, 36 total units
Each list contains 26-27 words (challenge words are included)
Review units are every sixth unit with 50 words
The Spelling words come from
Everyday Spelling (Scott Foresman)
Religious words
Some Science and Social Studies words
On Monday and Wednesday the students will take a Pre-test. If the student receives an A+ on Wednesday, they will not have to take the Final Test on Friday.
With each unit, except the review units, the students will complete a worksheet.
On Friday, the students will take the Final Test.
